If you possess one of the following documents (with Confirmation Number ) printed prior to May 1 and would like to validate Confirmation Number and claim ownership of the eTR:
1.Paper Gate Move Record;
2.House Bill Gate Move Record;
3.Electronic Terminal Receipt record received through Forward by Fax or Email from eTR System,
please follow the below instructions to use the old 'Validate and Claim eTR' function:
Step 1:Click 'Validate H/B Collection'.
Step 2:Click on 'please click here to use the old ' Validate and Claim eTR ' function.' link.
Step 3:Enter Container Number and Exchange Number in the form, and click 'Validate' button.

(5) For shippers/freight forwarders who place their bookings with carriers or freight forwarders through a third-party company, please:
Step 1: Click 'Forward eTR'. Select the container(s) by checking the appropriate box(es) on the left. Click 'Forward'.
Step 2: Select the appropriate recipient company from the list or enter your recipient company's OnePort company ID. Click 'Forward'.
(if the recipient has not registered for eTR service, please remind him to register as soon as possible at www.OnePort.com , in order to obtain temporary OnePort company ID, and ask for the company ID from your recipients)
Step 3:Confirm recipient company name, and then click 'Yes' to finish.
How SHIPPERS collect bills of lading after April 1:
1. How shippers collect house bills from freight forwarders
Unregistered shippers should go to www.OnePort.com to register immediately. You will instantly obtain eTR system login information including company ID, user ID and password for temporary use. Registered shippers should do the following:
Step 1︰Give your eTR company ID to your trucking companies. Ask your trucking companies to use OnePort’s eTR system to forward all of your eTRs to your company ID. Trucking companies could use OnePort’s website or phone service to forward the eTRs to you. You should remind them to register as soon as possible.
Step 2︰Go to www.OnePort.com. Click ‘English’ at the top right hand corner to change the language. Click ‘eTR’ under ‘Login to Our Services’ at the top left hand corner. Type your company ID, user ID and password. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 3︰Click ‘Collect House Bill’. Select the appropriate freight forwarder from the list or enter your freight forwarder’s OnePort company ID.
Step 4︰Select container(s) by checking the appropriate box(es) on the left. Click ‘Quality Print’, ‘Basic Print’ or ‘Save for Print’. Click ‘Yes’. This folder only contains eTRs already forwarded by your trucking companies.
Step 5︰Print the ‘House Bill Gate Move Record’ when it appears on a separate window. Take it to your freight forwarder for house bill collection.
Note︰Shippers could only use the House Bill Gate Move Record to collect house bills after April 1. OnePort will not send any email or fax to trucking companies.
2. How shippers collect ocean bills from shipping lines
Unregistered shippers should go to www.OnePort.com to register immediately. You will instantly obtain eTR system login information including company ID, user ID and password for temporary use. Registered shippers should do the following:
Step 1: Give your eTR company ID to your trucking companies. Ask your trucking companies to use OnePort’s eTR system to forward all of your eTRs to your company ID. Trucking companies could use OnePort’s website or our phone service to forward the eTRs to you. You should remind them to register as soon as possible.
Step 2: Go to www.OnePort.com. Click ‘English’ at the top right hand corner to change the language. Click ‘eTR’ under ‘Login to Our Services’ at the top left hand corner. Type your company ID, user ID and password. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 3:Click ‘Collect Ocean Bill’.
Step 4:Select container(s) by checking the appropriate box(es) on the left. Click ‘Quality Print’, ‘Basic Print’ or ‘Save for Print’. ‘Print’ the ‘Gate Move Record for Ocean Bill’ when it appears on a separate window. Take it to the shipping line for ocean bill collection.
Shortcut: You could group many eTRs for the same ocean bill and print ONE Gate Move Record for the Ocean Bill. Look for Point 5 on the screen and click ‘Group by Bill’. Choose the liner, vessel, and voyage by checking the circle on the left and click ‘Finish Selection’. Select container(s) by checking the appropriate box(es) on the left. Click ‘Quality Print’, ‘Basic Print’ or ‘Save for Print’. Enter the corresponding ocean bill number and click ‘Continue’. Print the ‘Gate Move Record for Ocean Bill’ when it appears on a separate window. Take it to the shipping line for ocean bill collection.
How FREIGHT FORWARDERS release and collect bills of lading after April 1:
1. How freight forwarders release house bills to shippers
Unregistered freight forwarders should go to www.OnePort.com to register immediately. You will instantly obtain eTR system login information including company ID, user ID and password for temporary use. Registered freight forwarders should do the following:
Step 1:Give your OnePort company ID to all your shippers. Ask your shippers to follow instructions under ‘How shippers collect bills from freight forwarders’. Ask them to bring along a House Bill Gate Move Record together with relevant documents to your service counter for collecting house bill.
Step 2:Validate H/B Collection No. Go to www.OnePort.com. Click ‘English’ at the top right hand corner to change the language. Click ‘eTR’ under ‘Login to Our Services’ at the top left hand corner. Type your company ID, user ID and password. Click ‘Submit’. Click ‘Validate H/B Collection No.’.
Step 3:Enter the collection number. Click ‘Validate’. Release house bills against validated ‘House Bill Gate Move Records’.
Note:Shippers could only use the House Bill Gate Move Record to collect house bills after April 1. OnePort will not send any email or fax to trucking companies.
2. How freight forwarders collect ocean bills from shipping lines
Unregistered freight forwarders should go to www.OnePort.com to register immediately. You will instantly obtain eTR system login information including company ID, user ID and password for temporary use. Registered freight forwarders should do the following:
Step 1:Give your OnePort company ID to all your shippers. Ask your shippers to follow instructions under ‘How shippers collect bills from freight forwarders’. Ask them to bring along a House Bill Gate Move Record together with relevant documents to your service counter for collecting house bill. Once your shippers have printed out the House Bill Gate Move Record, the eTR will be added to your OnePort account. You can then continue the process of ocean bill collection even before you receive the physical document ‘House Bill Gate Move Record’.
Step 2:Go to www.OnePort.com. Click ‘English’ at the top right hand corner to change the language. Click ‘eTR’ under ‘Login to Our Services’ at the top left hand corner. Type your company ID, user ID and password. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 3:Click ‘Collect Ocean Bill’.
Step 4:Select container(s) by checking the appropriate box(es) on the left. Click ‘Quality Print’, ‘Basic Print’ or ‘Save for Print’. ‘Print’ the ‘Gate Move Record for Ocean Bill’ when it appears on a separate window. Take it to the shipping line for ocean bill collection.
